Nilan Johnson is an actor and playwright. Some playwrighting credits: ENDANGERED SPECIES: 2016 Drama League Artist in Residence, reading (Red Fern Theatre), OUR PRECEDENT: 2015 semi-finalist National Playwright Conference, WATER FROM THE TAP (NY Indie One Minute Play Festival), THE SAINT AND THE SINNER (Wagon Wheel Arts). Some acting credits: NYC: Nobody Brings Anything Small into a Bar (Peculair Works Project), Trojan Women(Oppressed in Heels), Self-Accusation (Bedlam, LPAC) Assassins, A Rasin in the Sun, Clybourne Park, The Parchman Hour, Henry IV, Henry V, and The Imaginary Invalid (PlayMakers Repertory Company). Regionally he has been seen in Radio Golf (Deep Dish Theater), 10x10 in the Triangle (ArtsCenter Carrboro), Rent; The Two Gentlemen of Verona; Ceremonies in Dark Old Men. Internationally he was a Performer/Co-Facilitator in Playback Theatre(Playback Berlin/Second International Conference for the Arts in Society, Kassel, Germany).
